Justice for CPP-NPA-NDF Victims

The recent issuance of Warrant of Arrest against Jose Maria Sison, et al, by a Leyte RTC Judge only shows that justice for the victims of communist terrorist atrocities will finally have its way.

There was a sigh of relief for the families of the murdered individuals, whose blind belief in the rotten communist ideology, ended in a cold-blooded death by the hands of their own comrades on orders from their leaders in the communist movement. The survivors and families who have filed the case braved the grim threats from the communist killers whose wanton disregard and abuse of human rights have been kept in silence by the environment of terror espoused by the CPP-NPA-NDF.
As in the case of the infamous “Inopacan Mass Graves”, the element of time will not limit justice from pursuing its due course. Even if its perpetrators think that they can dispose the evil acts they have committed by merely saying that they have made them martyrs of the revolution. As the erstwhile priest Santiago Salas, the CPP-NPA-NDF spokesperson, had said in one of his press releases aimed of dousing the growing consciousness of the people in the region of the evil crimes carried out by the communist movement; “the rectification movement also rendered justice to the victims who were declared innocent and martyrs of the revolution, and made possible the investigation and punishment of those principally responsible for the bloody witch-hunts. In summing up 21 years of revolutionary struggle in the region from 1971-92, the Party's Regional Committee in Eastern Visayas formally declared the Anti-VD Campaign as a grievous error and directed the rendering of justice to the victims and their families, sanctions for those responsible, and thoroughgoing rectification against the recurrence of such a hysteria.”( “Mass graves” in Leyte a massive hoax by the AFP. By Fr Santiago “Sanny” Salas. Spokesperson in Eastren Visayas, National Democratic Front of the Philippines, September 02, 2006.
If this is true, that they have investigated and punished those principally responsible to the bloody purges that claimed the lives of thousand Filipino people nationwide, then it is an outright admission coming from the spokesperson of the CPP-NPA-NDF that they have violated the existing legal laws of the land which is tantamount to MURDER! Hence, it is but just right and proper that the survivors and relatives of the murdered individuals during the “hysteria” seeking for justice file their case via the established Justice system of our nation.

Although it is a pity for them for not having the endorsement of some alleged “Human Rights Advocates” groups like the KARAPATAN, PCPR, INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY MISSION, etc, to take on the cudgels for them in demanding for true justice (not just declaration of being martyrs) for their lost loved ones, we are hoping and praying that justice will take its due course. But with or without these dubious organizations, all peace-loving Filipinos should unite to finally put to rest the terror that the communist terrorist movement have brought to our democratic way of life for nearly four decades now.

Lest we forget that for this year alone, the CPP-NPA-NDF went on a killing spree within the Eastern Visayas region. Recent murders perpetrated by these communists terrorists, notable of which are the murders of the late Mayor Benito Astorga, Augusto “Ka Agoy” Daclitan, Hon Vedasto Gabiana, among others, should never be easily forgotten. We should unite and fight the reign of terror that these communist terrorists wanted to impose upon us.

In order to achieve an environment of peace, the community must be united working for its realization.
